About the Role
We’re looking for a Design Engineer to help build the future of pet health. You’ll design and build significant parts of the Fetch consumer app and partner platforms, with real ownership of the user experience. You will collaborate with design, brand, product, and engineering teams, bringing your ideas from concept to release.
Responsibilities
- Design and build key experiences across the consumer app and partner platforms.
- Own UX, visual design, prototypes, and frontend code.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and reliable interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Focus on details like typography, layout, motion, and interactions.
- Improve the design system by creating reusable components and patterns.
- Utilize AI for exploring approaches, prototyping, and faster development.
- Refine shipped products based on user feedback and performance.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building digital products with a portfolio of work.
- Strong UI and UX instincts with the ability to articulate design rationale.
- Proficiency in writing frontend code and releasing interfaces.
- Ability to think through entire user journeys, including edge cases and error states.
- Effective collaboration skills with designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Comfort exploring problems without a fully defined brief.
