About the Role

We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to join our team and drive strategic and competitive procurement activities by collaborating with the Regional Procurement team and internal stakeholders to ensure a balance of price, delivery, and quality. This role is crucial for solving significant problems and delivering value for our business's future.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities in the indirect procurement domain, including new contracts, renewals, and renegotiations.
  • Conduct RFx processes, organize terms, select vendors, and negotiate contract terms in collaboration with the Regional Procurement team.
  • Collaborate with requesting departments to define requirements, and provide optimal proposals from cost and risk perspectives.
  • Act as the primary lead for complex or adjustment-required procurement cases.
  • Plan and execute procurement process improvements, including visualizing and standardizing workflows, and optimizing efficiency and quality using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Support the implementation and operational adoption of procurement systems (e-Procurement, contract management, etc.).
  • Manage vendors, including evaluations, improvement requests, and relationship strengthening.
  • Manage and report on contract and deal pipelines.
  • Support decision-making for senior management by organizing options, analyzing risks and costs, and presenting recommendations.
  • Provide practical guidance and advice to junior members and Assistant Managers.
  • Contribute to Business Continuity Planning (BCP), operational risk management, and procurement governance enhancement.

Requirements

  • Sufficient practical experience in indirect procurement.
  • Practical experience in procurement process improvement and business reform.
  • Experience in implementing or operating procurement systems (Source-to-Contract, e-Procurement, etc.).
  • Understanding and application experience of improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Experience with spend analysis, KPI management, and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Ability to independently drive contract negotiations and stakeholder adjustments.
  • Logical thinking ability to organize issues and present options based on practical experience.
  • Communication skills to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable communicating in English for business purposes.
  • A mindset to contribute to the overall improvement of the procurement function by deeply engaging with the field.
