About the Role

Our Service Managers are the front of our business, working directly with our customers. They are responsible for developing long-term relationships and a partnership with our customers, by providing high-quality support whilst generating creative solutions to challenges, ultimately helping our customers to address their business needs and achieve their objectives. Service Managers are the face of our services business and are often seen as an extended part of the customer team, through their proximity and solid understanding of the customer's business and its people. Our Service Management division is at the heart of our business, providing services to some of the world’s largest organisations…helping to keep the public safe, keep planes in the air, entertain the world and develop life-saving pharmaceuticals. By the end of our programme, you will own and drive these critical services for our customers, ensuring their business outcomes, alongside driving new opportunities to grow our business.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about Computacenter's core service offerings, develop leadership skills, and work towards industry-recognised qualifications.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and account teams to understand business objectives and add value to services.
  • Lead customer and internal meetings to track service performance and key actions, ensuring services align with contractual obligations and strategic goals.
  • Develop knowledge of technical services and commercial policies to ensure efficient customer service operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage financial operational costs and revenues, forecast new business opportunities, and report on financial health and performance.
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with customers to address business and technology challenges.
  • Sharpen presentation and communication skills by presenting account strategy and performance to customers and leadership teams.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
  • Gain exposure to a global corporate environment and work virtually with international colleagues.
  • Gain an industry-recognized ITIL accreditation and access to high-quality external training.

Requirements

  • Degree educated (any subject and any classification accepted) or 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Keen interest in technology and striving to achieve outstanding customer service levels.
  • Personable with the ability to communicate and build relationships.
  • Hardworking and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Willing to learn, make mistakes, and possess a drive for improvement.
  • Adaptable to situations and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Confident in speaking and delivering presentations to senior leaders and customers.
  • Available to start the 10-month Business Management Graduate Associate Programme in September 2027.
