About the Role
The Centre Manager will coordinate the Centre’s non-academic operations, supporting the delivery of activities, milestones, and strategic priorities. This role involves managing project systems, budgets, reporting, contracts, and compliance with University processes, while acting as a key liaison with Departments, Schools, funders, and collaborators. The role also supports communications, grant applications, future funding opportunities, partner relationships, and routine administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Centre’s non-academic operations
- Support delivery of activities, milestones and strategic priorities
- Manage project systems, budgets, reporting, contracts, procedures and compliance with University processes
- Act as a key liaison with Departments, Schools, funders and collaborators
- Support communications, grant applications, future funding opportunities, partner relationships and routine administrative duties
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong track record of managing complex programmes, centres or projects
- Highly organised
- Able to balance competing priorities
- Experienced in developing procedures, policies and contracts
- Understand university structures and systems
- Confident supporting grant applications and external relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong digital engagement skills
- Financial monitoring experience
