About the Role
Planet Fitness is seeking friendly and courteous candidates for the role of Front Desk Associates. This role is crucial for delivering first-rate service, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promoting the company's mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a positive demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
- Anticipate member's needs and respond promptly.
- Provide gracious and efficient telephone service, answering calls promptly and knowledgeably.
- Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the club.
- Deliver prompt, efficient customer service with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Accept payments from customers and provide change and receipts.
- Drive revenue by communicating product benefits and special promotions.
- Answer customer questions and provide information regarding business procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in a retail environment required.
- One year of fitness experience preferred.
- Ability to talk and hear, sit, stand, and use hands and fingers.
- Required to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Solid work ethic with strong decision-making and problem-resolution skills.
- Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision.
- Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule.
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
