About the Role
Armoured One is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Technician / Field Installer to handle glass lamination, machine maintenance, quality control, and field installation of security film. This role supports the Director of Manufacturing Operations and Field Services Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect glass shipments, organizing them for production.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Operate Glass Washer and Laminator according to safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Organize glass by dimension and project, recording discrepancies and production numbers.
- Record operations in Rootstock for tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and relevant areas.
- Manage inventory of production materials, supplies, and tools.
- Stage glass for shipping and inspection.
- Perform routine building cleaning as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Travel to job sites for security film installation on existing windows.
- Cut and prepare security film for installations.
- Measure existing windows to determine film sizes.
- Maintain project reports as required.
- Support project coordination and communication with contractors.
- Assist in training new employees and licensed installers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
