About the Role
As a T&M Software Engineer Intern, you will gain exposure to various aspects of the product development cycle, with your project contributing to T&M's success. Opportunities include development tools, compiler design, GUI, kernel-level drivers, instrument drivers, networking, embedded and real-time systems, automated data acquisition systems, and mathematical analysis. Successfully completing an internship may lead to a full-time offer.
Responsibilities
- Work with high-level programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, C).
- Engage with a variety of operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Linux, real-time OS).
- Utilize high-speed bus interfaces (e.g., PCIExpress, PCI, Ethernet, USB).
- Develop user-mode, kernel-mode driver components, or firmware for embedded processors and FPGAs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, Physics, or Software Engineering.
- Strong foundation and understanding of computers.
- Exposure to high-level programming languages such as C++, C, or C#.
- Class Standing Sophomore or above.
- Understanding of software design and architecture principles.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
