About the Role

The Warehouse Clerk will manage receiving, warehouse, and distribution operations for the Bronx Direct Store Delivery (DSD) facility. This role offers career growth within the company and is part of a team dedicated to promoting high-quality branded products.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and unloading of incoming shipments
  • Loading trucks for outgoing deliveries
  • Assembling customer/driver orders, including pulling cases, building pallets or racks, preparing for shipment, and checking for pick accuracy
  • Maintaining inventory control, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Moving and parking company box trucks in the yard
  • Ensuring vehicles and equipment are safe, clean, and maintained; reporting any safety issues or deficiencies to management
  • Maintaining personal, driving, and food safety standards according to company policies and procedures
  • Delivering product direct to stores and/or customer warehouses, as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to use material handling equipment, specifically a forklift and pallet jack
  • Valid Driver’s License with no major driving infractions (background check will be conducted)
  • Ability to drive an 18 to 24-foot box truck with a liftgate (Commercial Driver’s License not required)
  • Ability to move product weighing up to 50lbs
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Apple-based products (iPhone)
