About the Role

Study Smart is a college and career access organization that collaborates with partners to promote educational equity, access, and success by providing a diverse range of tools for students, families, and educators. Our mission is grounded in closing opportunity gaps and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to 10th-11th grade students.
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Utilize information about class assignments for tutoring.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies.

Requirements

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 AM to 1:45 PM PST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
