About the Role
Open Door Mission is seeking a Driver to restore hope and change lives by safely and courteously picking up and delivering goods to the mission. This role is crucial as Drivers are the front line of the donations ministry and may be the first point of contact for corporate partners.
Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously pick up perishable and non-perishable goods from designated corporate donors and deliver to Open Door Mission.
- Transport students to appointments and other approved events or locations as scheduled.
- Communicate with professionalism and gratitude to varying levels of personnel and external partners.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record to be approved per insurance standards.
- Insurance standards include a check for DUI/DWI, history of a suspended license, and/or vehicular manslaughter.
- Mandatory 5-year Employment Verification Process.
- Must provide employer name, employment dates, and contact information for all roles held within the past 5 years before an offer of employment can be provided.
