About the Role
Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking PART TIME Beverage Merchandisers in the Saratoga Springs and Capital Region. This role involves supporting sales efforts by ensuring product is displayed effectively and shelves are stocked. Join a growing, family-owned beverage distributor with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Greets store owner or manager to review specific instructions.
- Displays merchandise to meet customer needs, emphasizing selling points.
- Places new merchandise on display based on salesman instructions.
- Organizes customer back rooms.
- Repackages damaged packages and replaces them on shelves or in coolers.
- Monitors and updates shelf tags.
- Takes inventory of stock and reports low volumes and out-of-stock situations.
- Assists with resets as needed.
- Maintains current and themed P.O.S. to ensure maximum account coverage.
- Adheres to all standards in the sales manual (e.g., rotation).
- Checks voicemail 3 to 4 times daily.
- Communicates with drivers and salesmen on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation throughout the workday.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 250 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Required to frequently work in a refrigerated atmosphere.
- Travels to various client accounts, such as convenience stores and grocery stores.
