About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the Buffalo Bisons Marketing Team, delivering high-quality, creative, and engaging artwork, designs, and promotional pieces to support marketing initiatives. This role offers a unique chance to work in minor league baseball and see your creativity come to life.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Bisons Marketing Team and advertising agency to execute the marketing schedule.
  • Create graphic advertisements for digital, outdoor, and print media.
  • Provide graphic support for television/video ad production.
  • Collaborate with the public relations department to implement branding and marketing initiatives online.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining website pages for events, promotions, and departments.
  • Design and produce team publications, including calendars, yearbooks, brochures, and pocket schedules, on time and within budget.
  • Assist the Game Day team by operating the video board computer during home games.
  • Hire and manage a graphic design internship staff.
  • Prepare social media and e-marketing creative aligned with the team's marketing plan.
  • Create graphic templates for sharing across the Rich Baseball Operations group.
  • Attend weekly Bisons Marketing meetings and actively contribute ideas and feedback.
  • Work with the merchandise department to support online sales through advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the advertising agency as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work at all Bisons home games and events at Sahlen Field.
  • 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience (organizational or freelance).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Proven ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and quotas.
  • Creative, energetic, and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to anticipate/adapt and make recommendations based on organizational needs.
  • Creative marketing and special events mindset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
  • Must be able to work game days.
