About the Role
Performs MRI imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision, under the direction of the Director/Operations Supervisor and Radiologist/Team Leader. May require cross-training in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision.
- May require cross-training in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
- Maintains competencies in each modality if cross-trained.
- Completes necessary documentation, including certification renewals, on a yearly basis.
Requirements
- Advanced MRI Certification Required.
- Proficient and able to work independently as an MRI technologist within six weeks of hire.
- Able to cover responsibilities associated with on-call imaging within six weeks of hire.
- This is a bargaining union position.
