The position reports to a co-founder within the Growth team.
Responsibilities

- Ensure content quality and distinct voices, avoiding 'slop'.
- Develop your own profile and following as part of the role.
- Write code daily as part of the workflow.
- Hold your own on topics of pipelines, data quality, and warehouses.
- Identify constraints and fix them, preferring to build workflows over repetitive tasks.
- Operate autonomously in a distributed, async team across 12+ countries.
- Grow a technical audience through newsletters, blogs, LinkedIn, open source, or YouTube.
- Ship agentic workflows to real users.
- Shoot and cut video content.
- Contribute to how Soda talks about the data quality category.
Requirements
- Ability to write and build.
- Ability to discern good writing from bad.
- Serious prompt engineering skills with multi-step LLM pipelines, structured outputs, and evaluations.
- 3+ years of experience building go-to-market products in technical content, growth engineering, marketing engineering, GTM engineering, DevRel, marketing ops, RevOps, or a founder background.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, APIs, webhooks, and databases to ensure autonomy.
- Experience with agentic workflows like Claude Code, MCP servers, and agent skills.
- Sufficient data fluency to be credible with Staff Data Engineers and CDOs.
- Generalist instinct to find and fix constraints.
- Independence and ability to work in a distributed, async team.
- Fluent English.
- A portfolio demonstrating your work.
- A writing sample that a technical audience has read.
- Willingness to learn new things constantly.
