About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Trader to join our High Touch Trading desk. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in institutional equities sales trading while working closely with experienced traders, sales professionals, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Support senior sales traders in servicing institutional client accounts and executing equity orders.
- Develop relationships with institutional investors and provide high-quality client service.
- Monitor market activity, news flow, and trading opportunities throughout the trading day.
- Communicate market color, liquidity updates, and execution insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, trading, research, and capital markets teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions to clients.
- Assist in managing client order flow and ensuring efficient trade execution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market structure, trading products, and execution strategies.
- Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and internal risk management requirements.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of industry experience in sales trading, trading, capital markets, institutional sales, or a related financial services role.
- Prior sales experience is a plus.
- Strong interest in financial markets and institutional equities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated work ethic, resilience, and a desire to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required.
