About the Role
The Warehouse Processing Associate will work closely with the operations and production team to learn and assist with the daily functions of warehouse and distillery production.
Responsibilities
- Rearranging and stacking warehouse inventory and barrels
- Loading and unloading trucks on forklift
- Transporting inventory from one warehouse to another via Penske Truck
- Pulling samples, bottling, labeling, packing, and other distillery tasks
- Assisting in assembling whiskey blends
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of work-related manufacturing experience, preferably in a brewery, winery or distillery
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving a forklift and/or box truck preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license
- OSHA and handling of Hazardous Materials training a plus
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter
- Stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Proficient on the Forklift
- Comfortable driving a 12' Penske Box truck
