About the Role

Players Era is hiring a Manager, Account Activation to own the delivery of all promised partner assets. This role converts signed sponsorship agreements into a complete inventory of deliverables, sequences them across the event calendar, and ensures execution meets partner and brand standards. You will act as the liaison between the account team, internal functions, and third-party execution partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own contractual delivery by creating and maintaining a master asset and deliverable tracker for media, signage, hospitality, tickets, NIL content, digital/social, broadcast integrations, and event-specific programs.
  • Manage the integrated activation timeline across all events, including creative deadlines, production lead times, approval windows, and run-of-show dependencies.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for partner deliverables with execution partners, issuing briefs, confirming scope, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Establish and enforce quality-assurance standards for partner execution, including on-site checks, broadcast verification, brand compliance, and fulfillment logistics.
  • Manage the submission, review, and approval process for partner creative and brand usage across all channels.
  • Collect proof of performance data, including photography, broadcast logs, impressions, and attendance, for recap materials and season-end reports.
  • Manage partner activation budgets, vendor scopes, purchase orders, and reconciliation, coordinating with finance on billing milestones.
  • Lead on-site partner activation during event weeks, overseeing logistics, hospitality, appearances, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Document procedures, templates, and standards to scale the activation function and mentor junior staff.
  • Collaborate with the content and production team on brand projects and partner deliverables, aligning timelines and specifications.
  • Provide regular updates to sales and leadership on fulfillment status and delivery risks.
  • Proactively identify risks, propose solutions, and redeploy under-utilized assets to add partner value.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in sponsorship activation, partnership fulfillment, event production, or account management at a property, league, agency, or brand with direct responsibility for contracted asset delivery.
  • Hands-on experience managing production, broadcast, hospitality, or game-presentation vendors, holding them to scope, schedule, and standard.
  • Deep working knowledge of event marketing operations and logistics, including credentials, signage, build, ticket and hospitality fulfillment, talent logistics, and run of show.
  • Experience leading creative and brand approval processes with multiple stakeholders and rights holders.
  • Demonstrated organization and attention to detail, with a track record of reliable tracking and execution.
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented under live-event pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of writing precise vendor briefs and clear partner recaps.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project-management, CRM, and asset-tracking tools.
  • College sports, NIL, or athlete-content experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours during event weeks, including nights and weekends.
