About the Role
Provide direct service and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a 24/7 crisis stabilization program, assessing Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with incoming clients.
- Assist clients with program needs, including locker rooms and laundry.
- Help clients participate in recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by cleaning treatment rooms and recreational areas.
- Ensure the health and safety of staff and clients in emergency situations.
- Assess situations to make timely and informed decisions.
- Facilitate data sharing with individuals for decision-making and to keep clients informed.
- Complete QI Training during onboarding and participate in refresher training.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Apply knowledge of health and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Six months of related experience required.
- Experience in an acute, psychiatric setting preferred.
