About the Role
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
- Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous guest room attendant in a full-service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
- Ability to work with others seamlessly and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Ability to work dynamically and calmly under pressure.
- Ability to carry/lift up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
