Responsibilities
- Understand the process, equipment, and all positions on the line, and be able to fill in as needed.
- Ensure the line is clean and running properly at all times.
- Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
- Physically inspect products for natural occurring and processing defects, including bruises, blood spots, foreign material, and out-of-spec product.
- Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to a supervisor or plant management official, such as product tampering, willful product adulteration, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, potential product adulteration, or equipment malfunction that may compromise product wholesomeness.
Requirements
- Ability to work at a temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment.
