Responsibilities
- Inspect bags for defects such as holes, bad dates, and misalignment.
- Properly place bags in boxes according to established procedures.
- Adhere to correct bag counts for each item.
- Place filled boxes correctly onto the conveyor.
- Maintain the highest level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
- Physically inspect products for natural and processing defects, including bruises, blood spots, foreign material, and out-of-spec product.
- Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to a supervisor or plant management official, including product tampering, willful adulteration, unauthorized access to restricted areas, potential product adulteration, and equipment malfunctions that may compromise product wholesomeness.
Requirements
- Ability to work at a temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of the workday.
