About the Role
The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is seeking a dedicated START CSIDD Coordinator to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who experience complex behavioral and mental health needs. This role offers flexible work-from-home options and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate an active caseload.
- Develop and implement cross-system support plans.
- Provide crisis prevention and intervention services.
- Conduct outreach, consultation, and education activities.
- Collaborate with families, providers, and community partners.
- Support individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental health or behavioral health needs.
- Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health/behavioral health needs.
- Experience working with complex service systems.
- Experience supporting families and individuals in crisis.
- Strong case management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
