About the Role
Read AI is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define and execute the company's market story, positioning, and messaging. This role is crucial for communicating the value of Read AI's platform, which enhances collaboration and productivity through AI-powered insights in meetings, messages, and emails.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Read AI's positioning and messaging architecture.
- Communicate the value of Read AI beyond basic note-taking, focusing on outcomes and workplace intelligence.
- Differentiate messaging for various audiences including individual users, teams, business leaders, IT, and enterprise buyers.
- Ensure consistent messaging across website, campaigns, sales, and customer success materials.
- Translate product capabilities into demonstrated customer value and compelling narratives.
- Validate product claims with Product and Data teams.
- Prioritize audiences based on product behavior, research, and revenue potential.
- Frame use cases around comprehensive customer problems.
- Develop and manage a flexible launch framework aligned with product release velocity.
- Own product launches end-to-end, including positioning, proof points, web copy, enablement, and education.
- Measure launch success by discovery, activation, adoption, retention, and sales usage.
- Own content strategy and product narrative for the marketing site.
- Partner with the Growth team to optimize the user journey from advertisement to product engagement.
- Develop repeatable sales enablement materials, including pitch narratives, demos, objection handling, battlecards, and customer proof.
- Run an ongoing voice-of-customer program.
- Maintain a current competitive view of the market, focusing on implications and recommended actions.
Requirements
- 6+ years in product marketing within SaaS, AI, productivity, or a similar fast-paced category.
- Experience with both PLG/self-serve and enterprise sales motions.
- Proven ability to position complex or emerging products.
- Demonstrated success in building customer-backed use cases.
- Experience owning product launches from strategy through adoption measurement.
- Exceptional writing and narrative development skills.
- Ability to deeply understand technical products and translate them into credible outcomes.
- Comfort challenging founders and executives.
- Ability to operate effectively without extensive marketing organization or agency support.
- A portfolio showcasing messaging, launches, websites, and enablement materials.
