About the Role
This role supports activities that build compliance and consistency in VF manufacturing programs by leading and conducting audits to ensure plant compliance and adherence to Corporate Quality Policies. The position standardizes SOPs and collaborates with Quality Assurance leadership to enhance Quality and Food Safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Auditing the facility to ensure compliance with Corporate Quality Management System policies and procedures, and plant-specific programs.
- Scheduling, preparing, and leading audits, including developing cross-functional teams, issuing non-conformance reports, and monitoring RCA and CAPA.
- Monitoring corporate quality measures in the plant by maintaining QMS systems and conducting regular plant audits.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in Food Safety programs.
- Responding to customer and supplier non-conformances in collaboration with customer service, sales, and production.
- Evaluating and following up on corrective actions resulting from audits.
- Conducting monthly GMP audits.
- Assisting with maintaining company and facility policies, procedures, and programs supporting food safety and quality systems.
- Managing special focus for key customer specification requirements with compliance to applicable laws and regulations.
- Confirming compliance to all food safety and quality systems through second and third-party audits.
- Assuring compliance and implementation of all company policies, including Safety & HR policies, procedures, and applicable food regulations.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Three to five years of food safety auditing or manufacturing plant experience, including a leadership position.
- Auditing, RCA, and CAPA experience required.
- PCQI, SQF, or HACCP Certification preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing plant processes and quality management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to lead and drive cross-functional teams.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to champion and lead a strong Food Safety culture.

- Base Range of $83,998.00 - $107,601.90
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
