About the Role

Sun Life's Group Retirement Services is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to support pricing for existing and new business opportunities. This role offers a transition into wealth management for individuals with financial, pricing, or pension experience. The analyst will prepare pricing quotes, interact with senior management, and contribute to projects.

Responsibilities

Assess the requirements, risks, competitive pressures, and financial feasibility of Defined Contribution pricing cases.
Use the Pricing Model to produce pricing scenarios and alternate fee options for new and existing Defined Contribution pension plans.
Determine appropriate benchmarks and recommend fees based on quantitative and service level specifications.
Participate in discussions on pricing strategy and assumptions with stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, IT, Plan Install, Investment Services, Fund Operations, Customer Relationship Executives, and Senior Management.
Summarize analyses and recommendations clearly and concisely to obtain pricing approvals.
Propose and communicate pricing options/changes for new and existing plans.
Prepare Letter of Commitment Document.
Analyze requirements and costs for recordkeeping services identified in RFPs.
Maintain and update Pricing Model and supporting infrastructure.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Group Retirement Services or Financial Services/Insurance.
University degree in business, Finance or Economics.
Advanced skills in Excel (experience with Pivot Tables and V-look ups).
Proficiency in Word and Power Point.
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
