About the Role
Advise, manage and underwrite initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, equity-linked offerings, at-the-market offerings, private placements and share repurchases. The team is structured in pods by sector vertical, led by managing directors/directors and supported by vice presidents, associates, and analysts. The business has an annual revenue expectation of $75 to $100 million.
Responsibilities
- Plays an integral role in supporting new business development, due diligence, and/or transaction execution.
- Independently performs tasks assigned and managed by senior staff, including drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials, executing transactions, and working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties, and/or other senior professionals on a day-to-day basis.
- Helps coach, mentor, and teach Analysts or Interns.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Licenses: Series 7, 79, 63
- 5 years of related work experience
- Strong knowledge of investment banking, equity markets, industry sector, and/or financial products
- Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Advanced skills in written and oral communications, and interpersonal relationship management
- Solid analytical and sales skills
- MBA degree, with a Finance focus (Preferred)
- 5-6 years of related work experience (Preferred)
- Experience in mentoring and coaching (Preferred)
