About the Role
This is a 4-month contract-to-hire role for a Software Developer. The position requires local candidates to Phoenix, Arizona, and is only available to current Arizona residents. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting web applications, analyzing and resolving production issues, and creating technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
- Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end-user service requests as assigned.
- Analyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applications; analyzes and resolves development issues in a timely manner; proactively solves complex problems.
- Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
- Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work.
- Prepares technical documentation on application specifications and creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
- Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of SQL server experience
- Ability to write stored procedures, queries, generate SSRS reports
- 3-5 years experience working in SQL
