About the Role
Precision Signs is seeking a highly-skilled Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of projects. This role involves working with project managers, estimating teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and within budget, offering significant growth potential within the company.
Responsibilities
- Plan and support projects by collaborating with teams to manage budgeting, scheduling, accounting, engineering, production, and installation
- Coordinate and communicate with project teams, clients, stakeholders, and vendors
- Manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, project status reports, and change orders
- Track budgets and costs, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Suggest process improvements to optimize workflow, increase efficiency, and reduce risk in project execution
Requirements
- Experience in project coordination or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, floor plans, and fabrication drawings to verify specifications, measurements, and assembly details
- A valid NYS driver’s license with a clean record
Skills
- Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Asana, or similar)
- Signs, construction, or manufacturing experience (a plus)
- Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar) (a plus)
