About the Role
As a Project Manager 1 on the One Water Team, you will manage and deliver vital drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Northeast, working with industry experts to tackle complex challenges that strengthen community resilience and advance environmental sustainability. Responsibilities
- Manage project execution from concept through construction completion, ensuring adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining relationships and guiding them through funding, permitting, and execution.
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
- Prepare and oversee the development of construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, cost opinions, and reports.
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to address project needs and resolve design challenges.
- Manage budgets and schedules to keep projects on track and meet client expectations.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, contributing to business development efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
- Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills.
- Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others.
- Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
