About the Role
Pronto AI is seeking entrepreneurial Test Operators to revolutionize the mining and quarrying industries by developing and rolling out autonomous technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-moving technology team inventing the future of haulage.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Safety Drivers in autonomous off-road haul trucks at customer deployments.
- Test and provide feedback on new technologies and features in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Operate other heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers, when necessary.
- Assist with the development and testing of off-road autonomous technologies.
- Follow and help refine safety protocols.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and light maintenance.
- Maintain accurate operating records.
Requirements
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to be part of an early stage, deep tech startup.
- Professional driving experience of at least 3-5 years, either off-road or on-road, with a clean safety record.
- Willingness to travel as necessary and work occasional nights/weekends.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in demanding, fast-paced environments.
- Based in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Wyoming.
