About the Role
The Marketing Specialist will develop and maintain print and digital marketing content for GW&K's Institutional, Advisory, and Private Wealth channels. This role supports marketing and sales efforts through various content formats and collaborates across the firm to achieve marketing and business objectives. It offers an opportunity to gain expertise in financial marketing, creative production, content management, and marketing technology.
Responsibilities
- Translate financial data and concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team and investment professionals to develop marketing materials using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Manage content creation lifecycle from concept to distribution, ensuring approved client-facing materials.
- Maintain marketing collateral content, automation, and data within Seismic for accuracy and accessibility.
- Participate in quarterly updates of marketing materials, ensuring timely production and distribution.
- Adhere to GW&K brand standards, style preferences, and messaging.
- Partner with GW&K Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Apply design fundamentals to develop new template designs, investment graphics, and brand collateral.
- Manage and maintain GW&K graphic files, including logos, photos, and artwork.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in marketing production, creative services, financial communications, or a related field.
- Experience in financial services is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical ability with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel and Word), and skilled at creating graphs in Excel.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Experience in Premier Pro is preferred.
- Experience using Seismic or an equivalent marketing automation and sales enablement platform is preferred; or ability and desire to adapt and learn new systems.
- Proficiency in WordPress and HubSpot or equivalent Content Management System (CMS) and Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and confidence to work effectively with all levels of personnel, including senior management.
- Strong attention to detail with a desire to achieve high-quality standards.
- Refined design sensibility and sound creative judgment.
- Solid business writing skills for content contribution and editing.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss business concepts.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to complete projects independently.
- Solid foundation of financial industry knowledge or a demonstrated desire to develop it.
