About the Role
The Complex Care and Recovery Program is seeking two casual Research Analysts to assist with multiple ongoing research protocols. You will report to the Principal Investigators and Research Managers in the Schizophrenia Division.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of study databases and data analysis
- Tracking referrals and metrics for the division’s Centralized Recruitment Model
- Recruitment and follow-up of study participants
- Coordinating study appointments and procedures
- Liaising with clinic managers, clinicians, and clinical staff
- Organizing and maintaining study and regulatory documents
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of research ethics board (REB) protocols
- Maintain contact with non-CAMH partners and program participants
- Support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in global health or related field
- One (1) year of relevant research or clinical experience, particularly working with individuals with mental health issues, including psychotic disorders
- Knowledge and proficiency in PC software skills, including Microsoft: Office, and internet search engines
- Experience in the administration of clinical rating scales and neurocognitive assessments (SCID-5, YMRS, MADRS, BPRS, MATRICS, SCoRS)
- Detail oriented, well-organized, and possess a strong technical aptitude
- Experience in the recruitment and screening of human subjects, data collective techniques, quantitative and/or qualitative research methodology
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment
- Ability for self-directed learning/working
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
- Experience maintaining large databases
- Able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
