About the Role

KPFF Austin is seeking motivated and energetic entry-level civil engineers to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of demanding projects with growth potential.

Responsibilities

Perform site development engineering tasks.
Manage and design transportation, waterfront, site improvements, and major utility projects.
Conduct site planning, environmental analysis, and storm drainage studies.
Design site grading, drainage, storm detention, utilities, access roads, parking facilities, and public street improvements.
Inspect existing conditions and envision potential scope of work requirements.
Apply engineering principles to solve problems and make sound judgments.
Collaborate with clients on challenging projects.

Requirements

B.S. degree or higher.
Relevant internship experience is preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification is preferred.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills are essential.
Ability to visit job sites.
Ability to set and/or stand for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer.
Ability to apply established engineering principles to solve problems.
Ability to make sound judgments and independent decisions.
Ability to maintain prolonged focus.
