About the Role
KPFF Austin is seeking motivated and energetic Civil Engineering Interns to join our teams. Interns are integrated into project teams, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to real projects under the guidance of seasoned professionals. This internship offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate interns into teams to share professional experience and work on projects.
- Provide opportunities for interns to learn and apply established engineering principles.
- Allow interns to use sound judgment, independent decision-making, and prolonged focus to solve problems.
- Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and document potential scope of work.
Requirements
- Must be a Junior or above, including students pursuing a master's degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen.
