  • Communicate with guests and manage guest relations.
  • Handle guest complaints and address difficult situations.
  • Present messages and packages to guests.
  • Present keys and offer bell attendant assistance, explaining hotel services if needed.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Offer a sincere greeting and ascertain guest satisfaction upon arrival.
  • Arrange transportation for guests.
  • Ensure guests depart satisfied.
  • Thank guests for their stay and encourage return visits.
  • Adhere to credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies.
  • Handle assigned bank and perform account postings.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires moderate physical ability to lift or maneuver at least twenty (20) pounds.
  • Requires prolonged standing during the shift.
