About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Backend Rust Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure trading software systems. You will apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to complex engineering challenges within financial services, building clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable software.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure software systems using Rust.
- Develop and optimize performance-critical, low-latency applications supporting demanding trading environments.
- Apply systems programming principles across distributed systems, concurrency, and networking to build robust solutions.
- Diagnose complex technical and performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective optimizations.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver maintainable technology solutions aligned with trading and financial-services requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with strong experience in Rust and systems programming.
- Experience designing and developing performance-critical and low-latency applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and networking.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing software systems.
