About the Role
At Spectacle, an Eyewear Stylist is a curator of confidence. Your purpose is to exceed client expectations by blending high-fashion expertise with "legendary" service. You aren't just selling frames; you are helping individuals discover their visual identity through our world-class collection of eyewear and sunwear.
Responsibilities
- Provide a personalized, concierge-style shopping experience.
- Guide clients through our "gallery" of frames, offering expert advice on face shapes, color theory, and current fashion trends.
- Educate clients on the value of specialized eyewear (sun, computer, fashion-forward) to ensure their vision needs are met for every aspect of their life.
- Develop an encyclopedic knowledge of our independent brands, their craftsmanship, and the stories behind the designers.
- Take pride in the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring the gallery remains flawless, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Communicate Spectacle’s values and brand philosophy, turning one-time visitors into lifelong "Spectacle enthusiasts."
- Brainstorm creative ways to optimize the client journey and share successful sales strategies with the team.
Requirements
- A successful candidate is a natural team player with a sharp fashion sense and a background in retail, design, or luxury service.
- Proven experience in a sales-driven environment is required.
- Comfortable with "the ask" while maintaining a soft-touch, advisory approach.
- Exceptional verbal skills—you can tell a story about a frame that makes a client fall in love with it.
- Availability to work a retail schedule, including weekends and some evenings for exclusive brand events or extended hours.
