About the Role
The PR Samples Assistant plays a fundamental role in supporting the global communications team by managing the lifecycle of press samples with precision and efficiency. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to deepen their expertise in public relations within the luxury fashion context, contributing to seamless sample operations that directly impact Burberry’s media presence and brand reputation worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Manage global press samples, including send outs and returns for menswear and womenswear.
- Manage the receipt and organization of new samples and looks.
- Create, track, and monitor samples using fashion GPS.
- Perform detailed quality control on returning samples.
- Manage shipping invoices and customs documentation.
- Track couriers and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the global delivery of all PR samples and gifting orders.
- Manage the archiving system for Burberry runway and main line collections.
- Support the wider PR team during key moments such as shows, press days, and events.
- Report on sample activity weekly.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the global press office.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and flexible attitude.
- Genuine interest in luxury fashion and cultural awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working within luxury fashion PR is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Launchmetrics or similar PR tracking tools is preferred.
