About the Role
Almedia is building the future of marketing by rewarding users for engaging with advertisers. We offer a new way for top companies to acquire users. This role offers the opportunity to own engineering end-to-end, reporting to the CTO, and shape a high-performing, AI-centric team.
Responsibilities
- Own engineering end-to-end, including execution, quality, reliability, and people management.
- Shape a lean, high-performing team with AI as a core component.
- Prioritize engineering efforts in alignment with Product and Design.
- Partner with the executive team, Product, and Design to translate ideas into successful releases.
- Implement AI-native workflows to accelerate the hypothesis-to-experimentation cycle.
- Build a QA function to prevent defects and ensure site reliability.
- Develop leadership and engineering culture to foster organizational growth.
Requirements
- Hands-on leader experienced in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience rethinking team workflows with AI to improve shipping speed.
- Experience scaling engineering organizations through significant business growth.
- Experience developing engineering managers.
- Experience leading Frontend, Backend, and Reliability functions.
- Experience designing operating models for cross-functional team alignment.
- Experience partnering with Product and Design to create shared roadmaps.
- Ability to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.
