About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle buses safely and transport passengers.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain bus cleanliness.
- Fuel buses and log trip counts.
- Assist disabled passengers.
- Maintain punctuality and professional appearance during scheduled workdays.
- Courteously assist customers with inquiries and direct them to the Facility Manager when necessary.
- Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate spills or debris to the garage office.
- Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the garage, local streets, major landmarks, and freeways.
- Assist customers with luggage and other items, if applicable.
- Support the Facility Manager with additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license to be carried at all times while on duty.
- Must maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and perform operations with tens and hundreds.
- Ability to perform mathematical operations using American currency.
- Must maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- May be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
