About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, passengers, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, transit areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for authorized employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
