About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded and strategic Product Manager to lead the marketing and portfolio management activities for Baxter's Patient Support Systems (PSS), Global Surgical Solutions (GSS), and Front Line Care (FLC) businesses in Singapore. This role will be responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive business growth, strengthen market positioning, and support commercial excellence across the three portfolios. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping portfolio strategy, executing product launches, supporting business planning, and ensuring Baxter remains a trusted partner to healthcare providers across Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for the PSS, GSS, and FLC portfolios to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Support annual business planning, forecasting, and portfolio prioritization activities.
- Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Recommend actions to strengthen portfolio performance and market positioning.
- Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive assessments to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, purchasing drivers, and market dynamics.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic responses.
- Translate market insights into actionable business and marketing plans.
- Develop impactful marketing materials, value propositions, sales tools, customer presentations, and business cases.
- Support sales and distributor teams with portfolio knowledge, competitive positioning, and customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to forecasting, demand planning, and business performance reviews.
- Monitor portfolio KPIs and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Lead product launch planning and execution, including training, promotional activities, customer education, and stakeholder communication.
- Support product lifecycle management activities, including product upgrades, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life planning.
- Partner with regional and global teams to ensure successful adoption of new products and technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical leaders, key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, and industry associations.
- Partner with customers to understand clinical and operational challenges and identify opportunities to create value.
- Represent Baxter at industry congresses, workshops, exhibitions, and educational events.
- Develop and execute customer engagement programs, educational workshops, seminars, symposiums, and congress activities.
- Manage approved marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and implement continuous improvements.
- Drive awareness and adoption of Baxter's solutions through targeted marketing activities.
- Work closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Service, and regional/global marketing teams to ensure successful execution of business plans.
- Support distributor partner engagement and enablement activities.
- Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance against revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Develop regular business reviews and performance updates for leadership teams.
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize results.
- Support strategic projects and growth initiatives across the three portfolios.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of product management, product marketing, commercial, or business development experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Experience managing multiple product portfolios and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets, customer buying processes, and competitive environments.
- Experience supporting capital equipment and healthcare technology portfolios is highly desirable.
- Experience working with distributors and channel partners is preferred.
