About the Role

Robinhood is seeking bold thinkers, sharp problem-solvers, and builders to join an elite team applying frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. As a Senior Product Manager on the Capital Markets team, you will own products that give retail investors access to pre-IPO companies and alternative investments, shaping the future of finance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of the Capital Markets product lines (IPO Access, Robinhood Ventures, or single-asset private offerings) and contribute to the strategy across all three.
  • Lead 0-1 launches, including the in-app experience for investing in a single private asset and discovery surfaces for first-time investors in private markets.
  • Translate ambiguous regulatory, operational, and partner requirements into clear customer experiences, collaborating with legal, compliance, and operations.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, including issuers, underwriters, fund administrators, and infrastructure vendors.
  • Set the quality bar for a product line where confusing flows can cost customers money and trust.
  • Utilize research, experimentation, and product analytics to guide product development and measure success.
  • Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and reasoning to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping high-quality consumer or consumer fintech products.
  • A track record of shipping 0-1 products at scale, beyond prototypes and pilots.
  • Comfort with complex financial products and the ability to quickly become an expert in new instruments, structures, or regulatory regimes.
  • Experience working with legal, compliance, operations, or other regulated-product stakeholders.
  • Experience working with 3rd-party partners on large-scale projects.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans.
  • Ability to operate in unclear, 0-1 situations while maintaining a high quality bar under pressure.
  • Demonstrated history of using research, experimentation, and analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Clear communication and relationship management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for Robinhood's mission to democratize finance for all.
  • Excitement about opening an asset class that has been closed to most investors.
  • Experience and proficiency building with AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
  • Familiarity with private markets or alternatives (e.g., closed-end funds, BDCs, interval funds, SPVs, Reg D offerings, or the IPO/ECM process) is a plus.
