About the Role
As the dedicated technical resource for a customer, you will lead Microsoft 365, end-user computing and Azure infrastructure transformation projects. You will support acquisitions and integrations through tenant-to-tenant migrations, Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure cloud delivery. You will coordinate technical workstreams, ensuring secure, seamless outcomes supported by strong governance, documentation, communication and operational handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
- Deliver discovery, requirements gathering and current-state assessments for acquired organisations.
- Implement Microsoft Intune and endpoint solutions, including Autopilot, application deployment, compliance, updates, security and Conditional Access.
- Design and deliver Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, RemoteApp, FSLogix, image management, scaling and monitoring.
- Deliver and integrate Azure infrastructure covering landing zones, compute, storage, networking, identity, governance, backup, security and cost control.
- Manage migration tooling such as Quest or BitTitan, including coexistence, throttling, monitoring and optimisation.
- Produce technical designs, migration and test plans, runbooks and service acceptance documentation.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, RAID items and stakeholder communications through to BAU handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering multi-workstream Microsoft 365 transformation and tenant-to-tenant migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, identity and dependencies across Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Teams.
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint security and Conditional Access.
- Strong Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure infrastructure knowledge, including landing zones, networking, identity, governance, monitoring, backup and security.
- End-to-end delivery experience across discovery, design, testing, cutover, service acceptance and handover.
- Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.
- A relevant Microsoft certification, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Associate.
- AZ-104, AZ-305, MD-102 or an equivalent role-aligned certification.
- Experience with Defender for Microsoft 365 policy baselines and threat-protection controls.
