About the Role
As Junior Product Manager – POS, you will help run and improve the Point of Sale software that store teams use daily, managing the process from initial garment scan to payment, returns, alterations, and customer shipping. You will translate store team needs into a prioritized backlog and implement solutions in over 100 stores through configuration, vendor releases, and collaboration with engineering. This role offers a hands-on start close to delivery and the shop floor, with opportunities to grow into owning the POS roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day delivery of the POS product by identifying user gaps, defining requirements, and creating user stories for engineers and AI agents.
- Align improvements with stakeholders and vendors.
- Act as a liaison between stores and technology by observing product usage on the shop floor and translating identified friction points into prioritized improvements.
- Manage the POS Content Management System, configuring settings, layouts, integrations, and checkout options to enhance the daily experience for associates.
- Manage day-to-day POS vendor and integration partner relationships, tracking feature requests, release trains, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with store operations and other IT teams to investigate and prioritize change requests.
- Develop ownership of the POS roadmap, including business cases, KPIs, and long-term direction for in-store technology, with guidance.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a regional role or digital projects, retail, or a strong affinity with digital tools and workflows.
- Ability to write clear requirements, follow through on details, and organize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Eagerness to learn configuration tools and understand system connections without writing code.
- A focus on improvement, seeking ways for store technology to reduce friction, save associate time, and increase revenue.
- An AI-native mindset, utilizing AI tools for efficiency, dashboard creation, and data analysis.
- No prior Product Management experience required; training will be provided on working with engineers, Agile processes, and product tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
