About the Role
The Hood and Duct Cleaning Technician will be responsible for the power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and power wash kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
- Set up and take down job sites and equipment, including wiping down stainless-steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high-pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, and hanging plastic sheeting.
- Perform detail cleaning of job sites before departure, including floors, counters, back docks, roofs, and other work areas.
- Clean all equipment and tools used on job sites nightly.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Comply with all safety rules at all times.
- Achieve performance standards for each job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining a clean work area.
- Safely drive the company vehicle to and from assigned job locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good condition.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Manager regarding routine inspections, oil changes, maintenance, and repairs.
- Report any vehicle or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and managers.
- May be required to use constant hand motions, kneel, walk, reach, bend, stretch, carry or lift up to 55 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must speak English/Spanish.
- Pass drug screening and criminal background check.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and work efficiently.
- Have a desire to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
