About the Role
United Ag & Turf NE is seeking a Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing engine components on small engines, agricultural equipment, and other dealership-sold equipment. The role requires safe, professional, and timely completion of work, with an emphasis on problem-solving and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed at high levels of quality and safety.
- Engage in daily customer contact.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools.
- Perform necessary repairs on equipment.
Requirements
- Must own and maintain their own tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions.
- Willingness to work a varying schedule/shift and respond to after-hours calls.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

Experience Level
- 2-3 years' experience as a mechanic working on small engines, diesel and gas engines, and small handheld components (Preferred)
- Experience with John Deere Equipment (Preferred)

- High school diploma or GED
