About the Role
Join the Agreements team within AWS Billing to build the next generation of cloud-based commerce systems for AWS, processing millions of customer records and impacting a multi-billion dollar business. You will own problems end-to-end, from automation to data stores and publishing agreement information, utilizing AWS technologies and collaborating with service teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.
- Design, build and operate innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
- Build distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.
Requirements
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
