About the Role
The Deployments Engineering team is responsible for the technical systems and standards that make Base installs safe, repeatable, and scalable. This role involves hands-on exposure to how hardware engineering translates into real homes, at scale.
Responsibilities
- Support the review and refinement of installation designs and technical specifications used by field crews.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues that arise during deployment, from electrical faults to mechanical fit issues.
- Help build and maintain documentation, checklists, and technical standards used across install crews.
- Analyze field data to identify recurring issues and propose engineering or process improvements.
- Support commissioning and quality-check processes to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with operations and field teams to translate engineering requirements into practical, on-the-ground execution.
- Contribute to tooling or documentation that helps the engineering team scale its support across new markets.
