About the Role
We are seeking a Product Owner to take full ownership of a defined product surface within our platform. You will collaborate with a lead and junior engineer, utilizing an AI-augmented development lifecycle to deliver at a rapid pace. This role requires owning scope, priority, and delivery accountability, producing engineering-ready specifications for direct implementation.
Responsibilities
- Own product surface end to end, deciding what gets built, when it ships, and how it serves users or consuming teams, with full accountability for scope, priority, and quality.
- Produce engineering-ready specifications for all features, including user flows, visual designs, data requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria, using AI tools.
- Make and defend priority decisions, determining which requests enter the roadmap with clear reasoning and transparent communication.
- Maintain deep fluency with customers through direct engagement, user research, and relationship-building.
- Conduct or commission user research, including interviews, usability testing, workflow observation, and product analytics review.
- Partner directly with engineering as a trio, providing clarity on what to build and why.
- Own post-launch adoption and feedback, including evangelizing capabilities, training teams, tracking adoption, gathering feedback, and iterating based on usage.
- Support enterprise sales conversations with substantive product and domain knowledge.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies across all aspects of work, including research, specification, design, analysis, prototyping, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in product management, technical product management, engineering, design, or a similar role owning product or technical surface 'what' and 'how'.
- Demonstrated ability to produce engineering-ready specifications, including visual designs, user flows, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Fluency with AI-assisted workflows and daily use of AI tools to accelerate output and improve quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder understanding.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams in an agile or continuous-delivery environment as a partner.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data to frame problems, evaluate options, and support decisions.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear product direction and actionable plans.
- Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with available data.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a software development environment.
- Proactive self-starter who identifies problems and opportunities independently.
